SolutionWise – Code of Ethics

Partners, Accredited Associates, Sub Contractors and Suppliers:

The purpose of this Code is to ensure SolutionWise maintain their professionalism and adherence to a high level of ethical standards when providing services to their clients and in their dealings with colleagues, businesses, suppliers and the public.

SolutionWise demands adherence to this Code of Ethics by its Partners, Accredited Associates, suppliers and sub contractors as a requirement to providing any services to our clients. SolutionWise are committed to upholding these standards in providing advisory services to businesses and while dealing with business owners, their personnel and suppliers and will;

  • at all times to act in our client’s best interests
  • develop and implement practical and real solutions to our client’s problems
  • provide independent, unbiased, rational and realistic advice and guidance
  • only engage assignments on services they are experienced, qualified and competent to perform
  • only engage colleagues or assign personnel and sub contractors with the knowledge, skills and expertise relevant to the client’s needs
  • not personally supply advice outside of their ‘area of expertise’ and shall refer such works to an appropriate SolutionWise Associate who is a specialist in that area
  • at all times conduct themselves with the utmost integrity and professionalism and serve their clients with competence, objectivity and independence
  • agree in advance with the client on the basis they are engaged and their professional fees and will charge fees that are reasonable and commensurate with the services provided while establishing realistic expectations of the scope, objectives, expected outcomes and work plan of the project
  • provide absolute confidentiality in the handling of the client’s business and personal information while taking reasonable steps to prevent access to confidential information by unauthorised people. Will not take advantage of any proprietary or privileged information for use by others without the client’s permission.
  • refrain from approaching a client’s employee, sub-contractor or supplier of a SolutionWise client to consider alternative employment without prior discussion or approval with the client
  • disclose in advance any financial interests in goods or services that form part of any recommendations and not accept any remuneration, commission or other benefits from a third party in connection with recommendations to a client without the client’s prior knowledge or consent
  • respect the rights of consulting colleagues, sub-contractors and suppliers and not use their proprietary information or methodologies without prior approval
  • avoid conflicts of interest and disclose to the client immediately any circumstances or interests that they believe may influence their judgment or objectivity and offer to withdraw from the consulting project and refer the client to another SolutionWise Associate
  • respect that the client’s business or enterprise may have numerous stakeholders with differing interests and expectations and seek to balance and resolve these differences prior to developing and providing advice and guidance to the client.
